Based out of Taber, Alberta, Carle Law Office has established itself as the “go-to” litigation firm when seeking tough and highly experienced representation. Our firm boasts a widely diverse clientele, ranging from international agricultural companies, to major locally owned enterprises, and privately owned small businesses. Carle Law Office has also represented hundreds of individual clients in matters of family and injury law.
Mr. Carle was born to a Canadian father and an American mother in Bellingham, Washington and had the unique opportunity to live in various locations throughout the United States before immigrating to Canada after his father’s retirement as Vice President of the world’s largest shoe retailer. Mr. Carle has lived in New York, Colorado, California, and maintains a second home in Nevada. Despite his American birthplace and early childhood years in the United States, Mr. Carle identifies as a true Canadian.
Upon his father’s retirement, the family moved to the shores of Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan and Mr. Carle thereafter grew up in the Prince Albert, Saskatchewan “Lakeland” area where he still has family today. While in high school, Mr. Carle excelled in basketball as the co-captain of a provincial finalist 4A team and was elected President of the student body for the largest high school in Saskatchewan (at the time). Throughout his early adulthood, he was also actively involved in local and federal politics- most notably, in the last political campaign of John G. Diefenbaker- and was elected President of the local youth wing of a major federal political party during his time in university.
Mr. Carle entered the University of Saskatchewan and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science. Thereafter, he was admitted to the University of Saskatchewan College of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1988. After graduation, he articled with the law firm of Whitmore and Company in Regina, where he accepted an associate position following his admission as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Law Society of Saskatchewan. During his 9 years of practice there, he obtained a great deal of experience in all levels of courts with an emphasis on family and criminal law litigation.
In 1997, he migrated west with his daughters Cassandra and Paige and settled in Coaldale. Shortly thereafter, he accepted the position as HR Manager/In House Counsel with Lamb Weston, one of the world’s larges potato processors, at their new Taber, Alberta facility. As the first Canadian employee of Lamb Weston, Mr. Carle was responsible for implementing all health, safety, insurance and benefit packages for over 200 new employees at the Canadian production facility. In addition to hiring, he was also vested with the responsibility for training and implementation at the facility. With his background in law, Mr. Carle was responsible for handling the legal needs of the new plant and was instrumental in creating a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility from the ground up.
In 2002, after spending three years with Lamb Weston, Mr. Carle decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning and operating his own law firm thus establishing Carle Law Office. Based out of Taber, Alberta, Carle Law Office has established itself as the “go to” litigation firm when seeking tough and passionate representation. Mr. Carle has the reputation and experience to represent all manner of clients and is a fair but formidable litigator.
In his personal time, Mr. Carle indulges in one of his greatest passions by spending time at his Las Vegas, Nevada home with his three dogs where they enjoy the sunshine, warm weather, and a swimming pool to escape the Canadian winters. Although he may be enjoying the desert life, he maintains a remote office at his Las Vegas home and remains available at any time to his staff and clients- never more than a phone call or email away!
